RURAL ENTERPRENOUR CARNIVAL (KARNIVAL USAHAWAN DESA)

Karnival Usahawan Desa was held at Dataran Merdeka Kuala Lumpur on 18 December 2008. It was officiated by YAB Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak, the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. Jamilah was invited to sing at the Carnival.

Jamilah has been given the honour to sing a patriotic song "Bahtera Merdeka" at the night of Independence Day 2008 while the emcee, Mahathir Lokman invite personalities who have successfully bring good name of Malaysia to shout "Merdeka" together with the Prime Minister.

JAMILAH & HJ. ABDULLAH SAFRI

Haji Abdullah Safri is the keroncong musician who has "discovered" Jamilah as a young and potential keroncong singer. Hj. Abdullah was a jury at Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya Keroncong Competition in 2005. He saw a young 10 years old girl was barred from entering the competition just because she was very young. He took the initiative to allow Jamilah to sing at the competition as a guest singer. The reaction from the floor was fantastic. He said this young girl could easily be the champion if she were to be allowed to enter the competition.

Hj Abdullah Safri then continues to train Jamilah and  make performance at the UKM Covocations since 2006

ALUNAN BIOLA

A keroncong song composed by the legendary P Ramlee, "Alunan Biola" is one of the songs recorded by Jamilah at Radio Wanita FM in 2006.Jamilah was 10 years old at that time. Thank you to Noramin (Moshi-Moshi), Kamal and Hamron who had supervised recording of the songs.

MAJLIS HARI RAYA KORBAN KEMAS WP

Pada 10 Disember Jamilah telah dijemput Ke Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Korban oleh KEMAS Wilayah Persekutuan. Sempena majlis tersebut, upacara berkhatan dan bertindik beramai-ramai telah diadakan. Majlis Makan Tengahari telah diserikan oleh beberapa kumpulan artis nasyid. Jamilah turut menyumbang dua buah lagu.

KERONCONG MALAYSIA TANAH AIRKU PERMAI

The song title "Malaysia Tanahairku Permai" or My Beautiful Malaysia composed by Allahyarham Johar Bahar is very beautiful. At Putrajaya Laman Seni, Jamilah accompanied by Orkes Keroncong Putrajaya under the leadership of Sdr Abdul Rahim Anuar sings the song.

ZAPIN BUNGA HUTAN

Jamilah not only can sing but she also can dance traditional Malay dancing. Under the guidance of Swatari, a dancing training centre operated by PakNgah Production Jamilah and her friends performed Mak Yong and Zapin  at the Certificate Award Ceremony in October 2008.

KANAK-KANAK PERMATA NEGARA

The launching of SETIAP ANAK PERMATA NEGARA was held at Auditorium P. Ramlee Angkasapuri on 23 October 2008. The programme was officiated by Puan Seri Rosmah Mansor, the Deputy Prime Minister's wife. Jamilah was invited ti sing a song popularised by Broery Marantika "Permata Hati" at the function.

SWATARI 2008 CERTIFICATE AWARD CEREMONY

Jamilah was a student of Swatari Pak Ngah Production for 2008 session. The Certificate Presentation Ceremony was held at Dewan Perdana Felda. Jamilah took part in the presentation by dancing "Zapin Bunga Hutan" and "Makyong".  Jamilah was also invited to sing a song popularised by Siti Nurhaliza, Biarlah Rahsia".

TO LOVE YOU MORE - KERONCONG VERSION

Keroncong music which was originated in Indonesia and Malaysia is very universal in nature. All songs can be sung in keroncong version and it is very soft and sweet to our ears. We are glad to present you with the song popularised by Celin Deon in keroncong version. Music arrangemet by Wawang Wijaya, the guru of keroncong.

SATAY KAJANG

Jamilah has been invited as guest singer to perform at the Selangor Youth Keroncong Festival 2006/07, Shah Alam. Jamilah sings Stambul Baju Biru dan Satay Kajang together with Hidayah Mustafar.
